Specialty Networks’ $2.6 Million Data Breach Deal Gets Last Nod

Specialty Networks LLC’s agreement to pay $2.6 million to its health-care industry clients’ patients and improve its cybersecurity following a 2023 data breach received final approval from a federal court.

Judge Curtis L. Collier directed the clerk of the US District Court for the Eastern District of Tennessee to enter a final order and close the case Thursday. Class counsel received its requested $866,666 in attorneys’ fees, a third of the settlement.
