Scotts Miracle-Gro Co. Faces Lawsuit Over Unwanted Text Messages

Scotts Miracle-Gro Co. was sued in Florida federal court Monday by an individual who claims that the lawn seed company repeatedly texted her even though her phone number is listed on the National Do Not Call Registry.

Victoria Galanti brought the proposed class action in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida, claiming that Scotts violated the Telephone Consumer Protection Act and Florida Telephone Solicitation Act when it solicited her to buy lawn-care products.
