Medication-benefits manager Sav-Rx failed to protect the personal information of more than 2.8 million people that was exposed in an October 2023 data breach, three proposed federal class actions said.
Plaintiffs in the separate lawsuits alleged that Sav-RX, also known as A&A Services LLC, breached its duties at common law and under the Federal Trade Commission Act and HIPAA to implement reasonable data-security measures, comply with industry standards and federal regulations, and provide timely and adequate notice of the incident.
