Regulator Issues New Guidance On Compliance with Anti-Spam Law

With less than two weeks to go before the entry into force of the main provisions of Canada’s anti-spam legislation (CASL), the Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission (CRTC) June 19, 2014, published a number of infographics and “Compliance and Enforcement Information Bulletin CRTC 2014-326: Guidelines to help businesses develop corporate compliance programs” (Compliance Bulletin).

In May 2014, the CRTC published a revised supplemental version of its frequently asked questions regarding compliance with CASL see report by the authors at WDPR, May 2014, page 23.
