Radiology Companies Hit With Proposed Data Breach Class Action

A duo of radiology companies was hit with a proposed data breach class action after they allegedly left over 1.2 million patients’ medical records exposed.

Northeast Radiology P.C. and Alliance Healthcare Services Inc. acted negligently and violated New York’s Uniform Deceptive Trade Practices Act by failing to protect sensitive health data from unauthorized access, the plaintiffs alleged in a complaint filed Thursday in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York.
