More alleged victims of a Progress Software Corp. data breach have sued the company, saying their personally identifiable information wasn’t properly secured.
Plaintiffs brought the two additional proposed class actions in the US District Court for the District of Massachusetts on June 23 following a cyberattack that resulted in the data breach.
Consumers were notified of the breach around the end of May when PSC posted a notice on its website saying that its MOVEit transfer application was vulnerable as far back as 2021, the complaints said.
