Proctor360 faces a proposed class action brought by a university student who claims that the online proctoring software collected his biometric information without his permission, in violation of Illinois’ Biometric Information Privacy Act.
Jordan Williams says that Proctor360 collected, stored, and used the eye movements and facial expressions thousands of Illinois university students who used the software to take online exams.
