A group that represents the adult entertainment industry won its bid for a federal court order blocking Texas from implementing a new law that would require pornography websites to check that their users are adults and warn visitors of potential harms.
The Free Speech Coalition, as the group is known, challenged the Texas measure and other state laws like it across the US for allegedly infringing on adults’ freedom to browse the web as they wish.
