ParkMobile LLC would create a $9 million fund and distribute up to $21 million worth of credits to settle a lawsuit alleging it negligently failed to protect consumers’ personal information in a 2021 data breach, under a proposed deal filed in federal court.
The 21 million class members would be eligible for a pro rata share of the net settlement fund after deduction of attorneys’ fees and the costs of administration, according to the plaintiffs’ motion for final approval filed Thursday in the US District Court for the Northern District of Georgia.
