Outdoor Voices, 2Talk Hit With Suit Over De-Anonymization Tools

Outdoor Voices Inc. and 2Talk LLC allegedly collect data about website visitors using secret spyware tools and engage third parties to eavesdrop on chat communications on the companies’ websites, two nearly identical California lawsuits said.

Sonya Valenzuela alleged in separate lawsuits filed on an individual basis that Outdoor Voices and 2Talk installed spyware on their websites to de-anonymize visitors and add their personal information to a database that identified them when they visited other websites using the same spyware tools.
