Digital education company edX LLC and its parent company 2U Inc. are facing a new proposed class action alleging the companies didn’t obtain consent before sharing private video data and personal information with a host of third-party vendors.
Plaintiff Henry De La Paz used edX’s app regularly from October 2015 to November 2023, according to his complaint filed in the US District Court for the District of Massachusetts.
