Singapore’s OG department store was notified Tuesday that personal data of its customers, such as their names and mobile numbers, had been leaked, the Straits Times reports, citing the company.
- Preliminary investigations indicate database, stored and managed by third-party provider, was compromised
- Data that may have been compromised includes customer names, mailing addresses, email addresses, mobile numbers, genders, date of birth, encrypted identity card data and passwords
- OG says management is closely working with cyber security consultants and authorities to strengthen safeguards, systems and processes
