NetChoice Sues Mississippi to Block Youth Social Media Law (1)

Tech industry group NetChoice sued the state of Mississippi in an effort to block a state law curbing minors’ access to social media.

The group, whose members include Meta Platforms Inc. and Snap Inc., is asking the US District Court for the Southern District of Mississippi to deem the law unconstitutional and stop state Attorney General Lynn Fitch from enforcing it, according to the complaint filed Friday and shared first with Bloomberg Law.
