National Cyber Director Seeks Corporate Help on Network Defense

The Trump administration aims to streamline regulations and compliance burdens and work more closely with US companies to defend against relentless cyber threats, National Cyber Director Sean Cairncross said Tuesday.

Trump’s pick to head the Office of the National Cyber Director shared the administration’s cybersecurity policy priorities during a keynote at the Billington CyberSecurity Summit, a government cybersecurity conference, in Washington DC.
