IMDB.com, a movie database owned by Amazon.com Inc., breached its privacy policies and Washington law by combining subscribers’ billing and account data with publicly available information, such as birth dates, to enhance its online profiles of actors, according to a complaint filed Oct. 13 by an anonymous Texas-based actress in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Washington (Doe v. Amazon.com Inc.).
