The tracking tool redirects patient communications and other supposedly secure information without authorization, according to the proposed class action filed in the US District Court for the Northern District of California Monday. Third parties, like co-defendants UCSF Medical Center and Dignity Health Medical, can embed the Pixel’s code to gain insight into user experience and website activity, the complaint says.
