A former corporate affairs director at Mars Petcare US, Inc., is suing the company, alleging discrimination and retaliation in violation of federal and state laws.
Michelle Jahnke claims Mars discriminated against her based on her race and disability, and retaliated against her for engaging in protected activities, including requesting accommodations for her anxiety and complaining about discrimination, according to her complaint filed Oct. 3 with the US District Court for the District of Maryland.
Mars didn’t immediately respond to a request for comment.
