Lusha Systems Inc. faces a lawsuit claiming it used the personal information and likenesses of individuals who have no relationship with the software company as teaser profiles to advertise paid subscriptions to its website.
Mike Sliozis filed the proposed class action against the business-to-business database in the US District Court for the District of Massachusetts Wednesday. He allegedthat Lusha used the names, contact information, job titles, places of work, cities of residence, and other personal information of himself, and of members of a proposed class, without their permission.
