LoanDepot Inc. failed to protect the personal information of 16.6 million people that was exposed in a January data breach, a proposed federal class action said.
Jonathan Rosa alleged that LoanDepot, a nationwide home-mortgage lender, ignored the risks of data breaches and failed to invest in sufficient privacy and security protections despite its promises to consumers that it would do so.
