Lakeview Loan Servicing Hit With Another Data Breach Lawsuit

Lakeview Loan Servicing must face another proposed class action over a December 2021 data breach that allegedly exposed the personal information of over 2.5 million customers.

Anthony Oglesby and Teresa Oglesby sued Lakeview in the U.S. District Court for the District of South Carolina on Monday, alleging that their names, addresses, loan numbers, and Social Security numbers were compromised as a result of the breach.

The Ogelsbys claim that Lakeview failed to properly secure their information and failed to notify them and the proposed class about the breach until March 2022.
