Krispy Kreme Inc. will pay $1,616,760 to settle a proposed class action alleging it negligently failed to protect the personal information of employees that was exposed in a November 2024 data breach, under a proposed deal filed in federal court.
Class members will be eligible for up to $3,500 in reimbursement for documented losses related to the breach, or an alternate cash payment of around $75, according to a motion for preliminary approval of the settlement filed Tuesday in the US District Court for the Western District of North Carolina.
