Ketamine Therapy Customer Advances Lawsuit Over Data Tracking

Texas-based ketamine-therapy provider Choose Your Horizon Inc. must face a consumer privacy lawsuit over its use of online tracking tools in a California federal court.

Although CYH obtained just 13% of its revenues from California and marketed itself in a similar fashion to other states, its contacts with the forum were sufficient to make the exercise of jurisdiction over the company reasonable, Magistrate Judge Laurel Beeler of the US District Court for the Northern District of California said Aug. 31.
