Kemper Sports Management Workers Advance Data Breach Class Suit

Golf-course management company Kemper Sports Management LLC must face a proposed class action alleging it negligently failed to protect the personal information of nearly 63,000 employees and former employees that was exposed in a 2024 data breach.

The plaintiffs established standing to sue in federal court and adequately pleaded claims of negligence, breach of implied contract, and unjust enrichment, Judge Joan B. Gottschall of the US District Court for the Northern District of Illinois said Monday.
