Judge Plans to Reinstate NBCUniversal Video Privacy Class Action

A federal judge warned he’ll deny NBCUniversal Media LLC‘s motion to dismiss a video privacy proposed class action, should the case be remanded from the Second Circuit.

Judge Paul A. Engelmayer, whose dismissal of the case has been appealed, cited the US Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit’s decision reinstating a similar video privacy case in his Nov. 27 indicative ruling in the US District Court for the Southern District of New York.
