Oracle Judge Doesn’t See New Claim to Save Profile Privacy Case

A federal judge questioned an aspiring class of internet users’ latest attempt to revive privacy claims against Oracle America Inc. previously dismissed in the same court.

Judge Richard Seeborg’s repeated mantra was “I don’t see it” during oral arguments Thursday over a third attempt to salvage state and federal claims against over the cloud service provider’s supposed"digital dossiers” of internet users. Plaintiffs in the US District Court for the Northern District of California have claimed since August 2022 the company’s collected their personal information and sold it to marketers without consent.
