Johnson & Johnson faces a proposed class action claiming that its Neutrogena Skin360 technology collects face scans without a user’s consent, in violation of Illinois’ Biometric Information Privacy Act.
The Neutrogena Skin360 program takes a 180 degree facial scan of a consumers’ face, then gives a personalized at-home skin assessment in real time by diagnosing skin health issues and recommending a skin care routine with Neutrogena products. The skin care regimen is then monitored and supported with behavioral coaching.
