Three job applicants dropped their proposed class action alleging that recruitment-services provider HireVue Inc. collected and disclosed their biometric information without proper consent in violation of the Illinois Biometric Information Privacy Act.
The parties filed a joint stipulation of dismissal Tuesday in the US District Court for the Northern District of Illinois. The filing comes two months after Judge Jeremy C. Daniel denied HireVue’s motion to dismiss the plaintiffs’ second amended complaint.
