Israeli Cybersecurity Company Sygnia Agrees to Temasek Takeover

Sygnia, an Israeli cybersecurity company that recruits staff from the country’s elite intelligence units, said it agreed to be bought by Singapore’s Temasek Holdings Pte.

Sygnia will remain independently operated while pursuing collaboration with Temasek, a state investment firm, and its portfolio companies, according to a statement Oct. 16 that didn’t include financial details. Temasek declined to comment.

The deal gives Temasek a company that works with major corporations and others around the world to assess risks, perform stress tests and build digital defenses to prevent attacks. Sygnia was founded in 2015 by Team8, an Israeli cybersecurity platform, and ...
