Internet provider Frontier Communications Parent, Inc. failed to secure the sensitive personal information of approximately 751,000 current and former customers, three proposed federal class actions alleged.
The Texas-based company was negligent in safeguarding consumer data and took approximately two months to notify customers of the breach, according to the complaints filed in the US District for the District of Northern Texas Monday. Data exposed by the breach included full names, dates of birth and Social Security numbers.
