Internet Archive Latest Library Hit by Hackers: Cyber Bulletin

One of the internet’s most valuable resources is slowly bringing its services back online after a Russia-linked gang targeted its servers last week with a massive denial-of-service attack.

The nonprofit San Francisco-based Internet Archive provides free access to an online library of millions of videos, audio files and copies of billions of archived web pages on its Wayback Machine.

But visitors to its website last week were greeted with an unusual message: “Have you ever felt like the Internet Archive runs on sticks and is constantly on the verge of suffering a catastrophic security breach? It just happened.”
