International development firm Chemonics International Inc. faces allegations of negligence and breach of contract for failing to secure job applicants’ and employees’ data from cybercriminals.

A May 2023 cyberattack allowed hackers to exfiltrate the private information of 263,136 individuals, according to a proposed class action filed Tuesday in the US District Court for the District of Columbia.
