Indiana’s TikTok Privacy, Child Safety Case Quashed by Judge (1)

TikTok Inc. escaped allegations it deceived Indiana users about data security and content safety for children when a state court judge granted the company’s motion to dismiss a lawsuit brought by the Indiana attorney general.

State Attorney General Todd Rokita (R) and his office failed to state a claim and prove that Indiana state court had jurisdiction over the case, Judge Jennifer L. DeGroote wrote in a Wednesday order filed in the Allen Superior Court in Fort Wayne, Ind.
