LONDON—The U.K.’s Information Commissioner’s Office took three enforcement actions in May, including two fines against public sector entities and one undertaking that requires a private catering firm to improve data security measures or face further ICO action.
The highest fine issued by the ICO in May was for £90,000 ($138,604) to a London-based entity of the National Health Service, which is the United Kingdom’s public health organization (11 PVLR 873, 5/28/12).
