Lead plaintiffs Stephen Goodman and Charles Greer adequately alleged that Hillsdale was a “video tape service provider” and that they were “subscribers” within the meaning of the act, Judge Hala Y. Jarbou of the US District Court for the Western District of Michigan said Oct. 17.
The plaintiffs also adequately pleaded that the information disclosed to Meta by Hillsdale was personally identifiable information under the VPPA, she said.
