Online pharmacy HealthWarehouse has reached a settlement of a proposed class action alleging it shared the personal information of consumers with Meta Platforms Inc. without their consent in violation of California’s wiretapping law.
Lead plaintiff Shahnaz Zarif filed a notice of settlement Tuesday in the US District Court for the Southern District of California, six months after Judge Cynthia A. Bashant allowed two of Zarif’s claims to survive the company’s motion to dismiss. Meta wasn’t named as a defendant.
