Haleon Hit With Proposed Class Suit Over Unwanted Online Cookies

Haleon US Inc. websites will attach third party cookies to visitors, even if those users say they don’t want them, according to a proposed class action lawsuit.

The company behind consumer health products including Aquafresh toothpaste, Advil pain reliever, and Tums antacids prompts visitors to its websites on whether they want cookies enabled, the suit filed March 14 in the US District Court for the Northern District of California said.
