A proposed class action alleging the publisher of Guns & Ammo magazine violated subscribers’ privacy by releasing their personal information was dismissed on stipulation of the parties.
The reasons for the dismissal are not stated in the agreement filed April 7 in the US District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan, and counsel for the parties didn’t immediately respond to request for comment.
The subscribers allege they were flooded with junk mail after KSE Sportsman Media Inc. released their personal information about their Guns & Ammo, RifleShooter, and Handguns magazine subscriptions without their approval.
