The Privacy Commissioner for Personal Data (“Commissioner”) published a Guidance Note on the Collection and Use of Personal Data in Direct Marketing (“Guidance Note”) October 18, 2010. The purpose of the Guidance Note is to provide data users with guidance on the collection and use of personal data for direct marketing.
