Google Says It Discloses App Tracking in Android User Privacy Suit

Alphabet Inc.‘s Google is pushing back against claims that it misled consumers about tracking their app activity on mobile phones using its Android operating system, telling a federal court in California that its disclosures are clear.

“Google discloses that it may collect information about the activity on a user’s Google device,” as well as activity on third-party sites and apps, the company said in a Wednesday filing in the U.S. District Court for California’s Northern District arguing for the suit to be dismissed.
