Google Mobile App Users Lose Bid for Appeal in Geotracking Suit

Consumers suing Google LLC for allegedly tracking a proposed class of mobile phone users without their consent won’t get an immediate appeal of a federal court’s decision to dismiss California privacy law claims.

They didn’t show the adverse ruling presented a “controlling question of law,” the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California said Wednesday.
