Google Beats Claim That Telegram App Promotes Anti-Semitism

Google prevailed in a lawsuit that alleged the company is liable for the dissemination of racist speech that encourages violence against Jewish people by allowing Telegram to be available on the Google Play store.

Marc Ginsberg, a former U.S. ambassador to Morocco, alleged that the Telegram app doesn’t comply with Google’s developer guidelines, which ban apps that “promote violence or incite hatred against individuals or groups based on race or ethnic origin, religion.”
