A majority of privacy professionals find compliance with laws governing cross-border data flows challenging, with 60% of respondents to an annual survey rating it their most difficult task.
Companies complying with rules for protecting data flowing from the European Union to the U.S. have faced uncertainty since an EU court ruling last year struck down a main transfer tool known as the Privacy Shield.
