Gerber Shared User Data With TikTok Without Consent, Suit Says

Gerber Products Co.'s website deployed tracking software that collected and shared personal information about thousands of users with TikTok Inc. without their permission, according to a proposed class action.

Gerber installed TikTok coding that collects as much information as it can about the site’s anonymous visitors and matches it with existing data the tech company has already accumulated in order to identify users, said the complaint filed Wednesday in the US District Court for the Central District of California.
