Frost & Sullivan Inc. should face a proposed class action accusing the law firm of exposing sensitive employee and client information in a 2023 data breach, a federal judge said.
Plaintiff Don Hays filed a complaint in December 2023 accusing the firm of failing to protect sensitive data of current and former employees and clients in a cyberattack spanning March to July 2023. The complaint said that the stolen data was sold on a “hacker forum,” including more than 12,000 records.
