Fresenius Medical Care Unit Reports Cybersecurity Incident (1)

Cardiovascular Consultants, a subsidiary of Fresenius Medical Care AG, announced a cybersecurity attack in September.

• Attack may have affected roughly 500,000 patients, former patients, guarantors and 200 staff
• The security incident affected the electronic medical record and data warehouse containing information on current and former CVC patients and others
• Although the investigation remains ongoing, Fresenius expects no material impact to financials or operations
