Foley Antitrust Head Joins Milwaukee Brewers Before Playoffs (1)

Foley & Lardner, a Big Law firm with longstanding ties to Major League Baseball and the Milwaukee Brewers, has watched its national antitrust and competition practice chair Elizabeth Haas join the club as its new general counsel.

The Brewers announced Monday that Haas will assume oversight for the team’s legal function and that of its affiliates, including the minor league Carolina Mudcats, whose purchase Foley worked on in 2017. Haas succeeds former Foley associate Marti Wronski, who was promoted from general counsel to chief operating officer for the Brewers in December 2022.
