Flagstar Bank Sued Over Data Breach That Affected 1.5 Million

Flagstar Bank was hit with a proposed class action lawsuit over a data breach that exposed the highly sensitive personal information of 1.5 million customers.

Allie McLaughlin sued the Michigan-based bank, claiming that it had inadequate security systems that allowed cybercriminals to access its systems and steal consumers’ names, Social Security numbers, addresses, Tax ID numbers, dates of birth, and financial account information and numbers.
