Filters Fast LLC has reached a $200,000 agreement with New York Attorney General Letitia James to resolve her investigation of a 2019 data breach said to have compromised the personal information of about 324,000 of the company’s customers.
The Charlotte, N.C.-based air and water filter company must create a comprehensive information security program under the agreement, as well as design incident response and data breach notification plans. Filters Fast didn’t immediately respond to a request for comment.
