Facebook Must Share Trump Files in Cambridge Analytica Suit

Meta Platforms Inc.‘s Facebook must share any documents related to work for Donald Trump’s 2016 U.S. presidential campaign as part of a consumer privacy lawsuit over a data-harvesting scandal involving political consultancy Cambridge Analytica.

Facebook had tried to challenge consumers’ bid for the documents but failed to dodge their request, according to a Wednesday order denying reconsideration by a court-appointed referee in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California.
