Facebook Ireland (FB-I) has largely complied with promises to adopt a range of data protection best practices made in response to a major 2011 audit by the Office of the Data Protection Commissioner (DPC) of Ireland, the data protection authority concluded in a re-audit report released Sept. 21.
FB-I processes data from worldwide locations other than the United States and Canada for the social media giant.
